International Green Week 2015, Berlin

Latvia is the Partner country of the Green Week 2015 – leading agricultural policy meeting and a massive event for the public. It takes place in January 15-25 in Berlin. The Ministry of Agriculture of Latvia in cooperation with the Foundation Fund for Development of Agriculture of Latvia (the Fund), the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre as well as the Latvian Agrarian Economy Institute are organizers of the events.

The Fund is main organiser of the Green Week 2015, responsible for visual conception, whole program and activities. The stand of Latvia is designed as modern farmstead with several thematic blocks: meadow, craft, garden and apiary, forest, fish yard, tourism, catering and reception – house. About 125 enterprises with more than 600 various products present Latvia as a modern and nature friendly country with its strong traditions. Totally 1658 exhibitors from 68 countries participate in the Green Week and are visited by about 415 thousand visitors.
