On May 28 the annual event Tractorday took place for the seventh time, inviting agriculture and technology enthusiasts from city and country regions. This year the event took place on the field Anšķini and the main focus fell on smart agriculture in practice.

In cooperation with their partners – Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre, Ministry of Agriculture and JSC Agrofirma Tērvete, the foundation Fund for Developing Agriculture of Latvia held an event for several thousand people. Throughout the day visitors had a chance to observe the competition of tractors and demonstration of equipment from the biggest and most popular brands in the world. The competition was held in 5 groups of capacity. More than 90 participants of the Tractorday provided visitors with entertaining and educational activities. Among the participants were enterprises of different fields, non-governmental organisations and institutions of agricultural education.

The event was reigned by a welcoming attitude, cooperation, game and education, as well as business and relaxation. All of these things found a common space on the background of extensive fields of Zemgale, thus making the heart warming event enjoyable for everyone.

Tractorday is an event for every enthusiast of Latvian agriculture!
